Folsom’s Run With Nature,
now in its 29th year, attracts more than 3,500 participants
and spectators from Folsom and the surrounding communities.
Crossing over the new Folsom Crossing Bridge will provide
a unique setting for the event. Avid runners, weekend warriors,
fitness walkers and children are all accommodated with
a variety of course offerings and competition levels.
Folsom’s Run With Nature serves a two-fold purpose:
it provides a fun and healthy activity for participants,
and proceeds from the event directly benefit the Folsom
community.
Through the generous support of sponsors, Folsom’s
Run With Nature has raised more than $100,000 over its
28-year history for the event beneficiaries. Together,
these beneficiaries – the Folsom Athletic Association,
Friends of the Folsom Parkways, and Folsom Parks & Recreation
– offer enrichment for the entire Folsom community through
activities, classes, organized sports, special events,
and recreational trails.
