Folsom's
2012 Run with Nature 5K, 10K and the Wild Way

Beautiful trails, great scenery, fun post-race party,
awards and raffle prizes! 5k is a all trail course; 10k
begins on roads closed to traffic and transitions to paved
trails. Both courses include portions of the scenic American
River parkway; 10k includes the Folsom Lake Crossing.
Prizes to top male and female – 10k, 5k and age categories: 12 & under,
13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Wild Way prize categories: 8-12,
13-17, women, men and family.
Time
6:30 - Race Day Registration opens (at the Folsom Public Library - 411 Stafford St.)
8:00 a.m. – Youth 1⁄2-mile fun run
8:30 a.m. – 5k Runners & Walkers
8:45
a.m. – 10K Runners
10:15 a.m. – The Wild Way
Please arrive early to allow time
for parking.

Race Beneficiaries:
Proceeds from the 5k & 10k races are divided evenly among the Folsom Athletic
Association, the Friends of the Folsom Parkway, and Folsom Parks & Recreation.
Funds are used for trail improvements, youth scholarships, and youth programs.
Proceeds from the Wild Way benefit The Folsom Zoo Sanctuary.
Post-Race Party, Awards and Refreshments:
The Folsom City
Lions Park provides the setting for the post-race festivities.
Head over to the park after you finish your race for free
refreshments, loads of great
raffle prizes, and awards to top male
and female finishers in the 10K and 5K runs. Award categories
for both 5K and 10K runs, male and female, are: age 12 & under,
13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
